I, Laxmi Rao, Founder of Mastering Phonics (Estd. 2018), have been an active Education consultant since 2011. Areas of specialization include Early Childhood Education, Interactive Learning, Effective Teaching techniques and the importance of Phonics to improve English Language skills.
Brief Background: I have extensive knowledge of the American Education system actively involved in Child Assessment and Program Evaluation, Teaching Methodologies, Student Achievement, Curriculum Design and Development as part of the Parent-Teacher Joint Committee.
My motivation to establish Mastering Phonics as a specialized classroom and online course is to bridge the foundation and learning gap observed in schools in India. Mastering Phonics is an Advanced International English Reading Program, modelled on the American Education system. It is a structured step-by-step approach to help children understand the importance of sound and structure of words to develop effective reading and comprehension skills.
